(1) Except as otherwise provided in this Act, the functions, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:-
(a) determine the quality in relation to any substance, process or service, amend or cancel the prescribed quality,
(b) to recognize the quality prescribed by any domestic or foreign body,
(c) granting accreditation or suspending or revoking the accreditation granted to a Government or non-Government laboratory for quality determination or testing,
(d) prescribing the form, type and format of quality certificates and proof-marks,
(e) To prescribe or modify the procedures for quality certificates and proof-marks and the services provided. can do.
